A really quick card for Send a Smile 4 Kids. I wanted to use the grey spider web paper from the Recollections pad, but it was too big (4.5x6.5") for an A2 card as it was. I have no other use for this paper besides making a card, though, so I had to get creative. I cut the paper down to 3.75" wide (it had a double border that I basically just cut off), and cut the resulting panel 2.25" from each end. I adhered the 2 panels to another piece of patterned paper from the same pad that I'd cut to A2 size. I adhered the top piece 1/4" from the short edge and centered, and likewise with the bottom piece.
To cover the gap between the web panels, I cut a 4x1" strip of cardstock. I machine-stitched 3 lines on it with black thread, and adhered it in place. I die cut the "B" with a "Cary Letters" die, and used it to help me place my googly eyes. I glued the eyes down with Ranger Multi Medium Matte, and the "B" with Perfect Paper Adhesive. (I have my PPA in a fine-tip bottle, since it's thinner than the Multi Medium, and it's just easier to use to glue more delicate pieces.) And that was it--mounted it to a card base, and I was done! In fact, I used the other identical web paper from the stack to make another card just like this.
